Thomas Woodman of Horley, tanner, snr., weak 19 May 1680

to my wife Mary Woodman £10 p.a. for life out of land near the common called Huets alias Lakeland, Horley (24 acres) and barn there; to my wife a featherbed in parlour, curtains and valence, covering, a bedstead and its trappings, 12 pairs of best flaxen sheets; 12 pewter dishes, joined chest, box, my biggest brass kettle, my biggest iron pottage pot, lesser iron pottage pot and bell metal skillet; to my son James Woodman six pairs of flaxen sheets, a fine childbed sheet, fine flaxen sideboard cloth, two tablecloths, 12 napkins (all flaxen), joined chest with a drawer in it, a new featherbed, new curtains and valence, best coverlet coloured red and green, two blankets, two feather bolsters, two feather pillows, four flaxen pillowcases, box with a drawer in it, my silver bowl, little silver cup, five silver spoons, a bedstead in the hall, 12 best pewter dishes, little brass pottage pot, an iron pottage pot, largest brass skillet, great brass pan, little table and three joined stools belonging to it in parlour, my clock, iron jack in parlour, two spits on the rack there, my iron dripping pan, joined chair, sideboard, fowling piece, andirons and tongs belonging to hall, a pair of pothangers, two cupboards in hall and boarded chest in hall; to my son Thomas Woodman of Horley, tanner all above land and all my goods, exec.
