The Church of Ireland printing and publishing company published this map in 1906. It was designed to show diocesan boundaries (marked with red lines) and how they had been, at that time, amalgamated into new united dioceses. This was due to the fact that the pre-existing dioceses did not have sufficent congregations to support a bishop. This map is especially useful in that is shows county boundaries (dotted lines), as well as cities and major towns.
